Emma Rose has hairdressing in her genes. After eleven years working in the industry, doing session and in-salon styling, she was inspired to open an establishment in the same neighbourhood as her uncle’s former atelier.

Long-time colleague and friend Alex Macdonald had similar aspirations. First working as a receptionist in a salon and appreciating the affable environment, Alex decided to study hair dressing. He has now been expertly styling hair for 6 years.

Like the creative and collaborative nature of the cabinets in early modern Europe, Alex and Emma have come together with renaissance verve to beget a visionary hair studio. Experience, innovation, professionalism and passion, along with the old world charm of a private sitting-room salon, make up The Cabinet.
